8-week Classes
Our adult pottery classes will introduce you to the exciting art of hand building ceramic sculpture and wheel-thrown functional pottery. You will learn about the entire process of turning raw clay into a beautiful one-of-a-kind piece of stoneware that will last a lifetime. Each week we will build your skills and knowledge of creating with clay. Your ideas and interests will lead your learning experience and the additional open studio hours which run for 8 weeks will enhance your skills and allow you to master the process of making art from the earth. Cost
(includes all basic tools, 12.5 lbs of clay, glazes, firing fees and weekly open studio hours)

Two-Day Workshops
Don't have the time to commit to an 8-week course? Our two-day workshops are the perfect option for you! Scheduled every Saturday from 1-3pm, you will spend your first day creating wheel thrown pottery with step-by-step instruction. Day two will be spent learning how to finish your pieces with professional and food-safe glazes. This workshop is the perfect way to spend your afternoon in a creative and welcoming environment.
Please allow at least 2 weeks between day 1 and day 2 to ensure your piece has sufficiently dried and has gone through the first firing.
Cost: $110 per person

Two Hour Intro to Pottery Experience
Our most popular one day option! A great way to spend an afternoon for a date, girl's day out or family fun!!
Come learn the art of pottery in a comfortable environment with the Earth and Fire studio members! In this unique experience, you will have the opportunity to be introduced to the exciting world of pottery. Your first hour will be spent on the potter's wheel, learning how to "throw" a cup, vase, bowl or plate. Your instructor will guide you step by step in a fun and relaxing setting. In the next hour, you will be taught the techniques of glazing and be given a pre-made piece of Earth and Fire pottery to practice your newfound skills. Once fired, you will be able to use your glazed piece for years to come! All pottery made at Earth and Fire is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. These pots are meant to be used!

Private Lessons
Come learn in a comfortable environment with the artist and owner of Earth And Fire Pottery Studio! Julie will guide you step by step through the process of working with clay. You will work both on and off the potter's wheel to create functional wares and decorative keepsakes. Taking private lessons at Earth And Fire allows students to progress at their own pace, with the freedom of a flexible schedule.
Cost: $99 per 2 hour lesson
